Worker Groups

Worker Groups facilitate the assignment of specific applications to designated workers, enabling optimized resource allocation and execution. This feature allows the same workers or applications to be part of multiple groups, supporting the implementation of distinct business priorities.

Creating a Worker Group

  1. Click Create worker group to begin configuring groups for process execution.

  1. Complete the following fields:

    Element Description
    Name A unique identifier for the worker group.
    Minimum business priority Defines the minimum priority level for processes assigned to this group. Priority levels range from 1 (lowest priority) to 99 (highest priority).
    Max. Bp number Specifies the maximum number of workers that can execute processes concurrently within this group.
    Enabled Determines whether the worker group is active or passive.

Managing Worker Group Members

  1. To add a worker to the group:
    1. Click the Add worker field.
    2. In the Search by name area, locate the desired worker.
    3. Click the worker's name to add it.

  1. To add an application to the group:
    1. Click the Add app field.
    2. In the Search by name area, locate the desired application.
    3. Click the application's name to add it.

After configuring worker groups and any related settings in the Workers section, the assigned workers are prepared for scheduling and management by the Orchestrator.
