Blur Activity

The Blur activity applies various blurring effects to images. It enables users to specify the type of blur, its intensity, and optionally define a specific region of interest within the image for processing.

Field Description Requirement
Input image Path, file name, and extension of the image to be processed. Required
Output image Path, file name, and extension for the processed image. Required
Blur type The method used to apply the blurring effect to the image. Optional
Blur coefficient Determines the intensity of the blur. Higher values result in a more blurry image. Optional
X-coordinate The X-coordinate of the top-left corner of the area to be blurred. Optional
Y-coordinate The Y-coordinate of the top-left corner of the area to be blurred. Optional
Width The width of the rectangular area to be blurred. Optional
Height The height of the rectangular area to be blurred. Optional

Action Types & Examples

Homogeneous Blur

  • Format: string
  • Example Result: "Homogeneous_Blur"

Gaussian Blur

  • Format: string
  • Example Result: "Gaussian_Blur"

Median Blur

  • Format: string
  • Example Result: "Median_Blur"

Implementation Examples

Field Setup - Input image: C:\Robusta\robusta.jpg - Output image: C:\Robusta\blurred_image.jpg - Blur type: Homogeneous_Blur - Blur coefficient: 9 - X-coordinate: 86 - Y-coordinate: 100 - Width: 67 - Height: 67

Execution Parameters - Input image: C:\Robusta\robusta.jpg - Output image: C:\Robusta\blurred_image.jpg - Blur type: Homogeneous_Blur - Blur coefficient: 9 - X-coordinate: 86 - Y-coordinate: 100 - Width: 67 - Height: 67

Technical Notes

The Blur coefficient has a default value of 9. When X-coordinate, Y-coordinate, Width, and Height are provided, the blurring effect is applied only to the specified rectangular region within the image. If these parameters are omitted, the blur is applied to the entire image.
