Gateways are used for controlling how the Process flows through Sequence Flows as they converge and diverge within a Process. If the flow does not need to be controlled, then a Gateway is not needed.

Id	The unique identifier of the element within the process model.
Name	Displayed name of the element in the canvas.
Documentation	It is a description and additional information about the item.
Asynchronous	Indicates the synchronous or asynchronous operating status of the item.
